Cancellation/Refund Policy

Prior to manufacture:
As our products are custom made, you are only able to cancel or change your order by contacting us within 24 hours or the next business day (Monday to Friday) from placing your order. Please note there is a cancellation fee of 5% or $10.00 (whichever is the greater) covering processing fees and bank fees.

If a cancellation of the order is required, within the cancellation period of placing the order, monies will be credited to your bank account or credit card within 14 days of notification. Refunded monies may take a few days to show in your account after our electronic transfer. We cannot be held responsible for interbank transfer delays.

After manufacture:
Cancellation of your order that has already been manufactured to your custom-made requirements will incur a handling charge equal to 40% of the invoice value. The balance of the price paid will be reimbursed to you within 14 days of notification of cancellation by crediting your bank account or credit card. Refunded monies may take a few days to show in your account after our electronic transfer. We cannot be held responsible for interbank transfer delays. The manufactured goods will be retained by Blinds U Measure.

Cancellation by us:
We reserve the right to cancel your order if:
a. We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered
b. You require delivery outside of Australia
c. One or more of the goods was listed at the incorrect price due to typographical error or an error in the pricing information made by us and/or received by us from our suppliers.
If we do cancel your order, we will notify you by email and monies will be credited to your bank account or credit card within 14 days of notification. Refunded monies may take a few days to show in your account after our electronic transfer. We cannot be held responsible for interbank transfer delays.

 

Dispatch & Deliveries Policy

Blinds U Measure are unable to accept cancellations of orders that have already been dispatched.

Orders are despatched from our Melbourne warehouse 6 – 12 working days from receipt of order. Delivery is usually 1 – 5 days depending on your location.

Blinds U Measure will deliver your goods to the address you have provided on the online order form. We will immediately despatch your order upon completion. Blinds U Measure use outside freight companies to deliver your order and cannot be held responsible for any delays that may occur once the goods have left our premises.

 

Damaged/Incorrect Blinds – Replacements

If in the rare occurrence your order arrives in badly damaged boxes with obvious damage to multiple blinds, we recommend that you do not accept delivery and tell the courier to return it to the sender. This will same time arranging a recollection to get your damaged order back to us.

Blinds U Measure offer a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty on manufacturing faults. We reserve the right to either replace or repair the product and it may be necessary to return the goods to us for inspection prior to a replacement product being despatched as per the Consumer Guarantee guidelines. Installation

All of our custom-made blinds are supplied with the relevant bracket’s but you will need to provide your own screws for installation. The reason we do not provide screws for our products is that each customer is installing into different materials. You will need to determine which screws are the most appropriate for the surface you are fitting to. We recommend you visit your local hardware for assistance. You will need 2 screws per bracket, and there are a minimum of 2 brackets per blind.

 

Privacy

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. We do however, use other companies and individuals to perform services on our behalf, such as delivering packages, sending mail and emails and processing payments. They will have access to your personal information needed to perform these services but we will not authorise them to use your information for other purposes.

 

Consumer Guarantee

Blinds U Measure have a duty to provide you with the product you ordered. If a part is missing or incomplete, this is to be reported within 14 days of receipt of your order. We will replace it as quickly as possible in accordance with the Consumer Guarantee. A refund will only be given if we cannot replace or repair the item.

Blinds U Measure is not promoting or claiming our colours to be Dulux colours, Blinds U Measure is not promoting or claiming our colours are Dulux product. Not in anyway is Blinds U Measure associated with the Dulux Corporation or vice versa . Products on this site are purely the manufacture and output of Blinds U Measure with colours offered at your choice to complement the interior range of Dulux paint (or any other brand) you may have in your home. Our colours are to complement the range and are not an exact replica. The blinds are on a textile and will appear different to painted walls. If in doubt we urge you to order a sample from us. Our blinds are made in Melbourne, Australia from local and imported product. We have at least and more than 50% of Australian content in our products.
